After the first tanks were delivered, it proved that in extreme situations the rear sprocket could touch the tank

Though we left ample space (2 cms) with a completely empty airshock, the bumpstop proved too soft and would be pressed in too deep at extreme bumps.
To overcome this problem we redesigned the mould for the left (inner) shell and that now has a cut-out extrusion to provide ample space (15 mm extra) for chain and sprocket.
The new batch is now available and the first few tanks already delivered.

Also there have been questions of German buyers whether it would be possible to find a mode to get the tanks through TüV-inspection ( "eintragen im Brief") . In consultation with local TüV-inspectors it has been decided to provide our Xtanks not only with our pressed-in company-logo, but also with a serial number. This unique ID.nr. will also appear on the pressure test certificate that comes with the tank. All tanks were pressure tested for leaks before leaving the works already, but now we make it official.

We expect the first confirmation of an officially  "eingetragen"  Xtank  on short notice
